"After almost 2 years of hospitalisations, innumerable tests, many many doctors and specialists, I had no diagnosis and was living in pain and in fear of another hospitalisation. No one previously had had any idea what it could be or even who to see next. I went to Central Health and saw Dr Ben Davis for the first time.

He had taken the time to go through all my results and consultation letters before my appointment and had a possible diagnosis. He ordered a few more tests to clarify. He then referred me to a new consultant and within 10 days I finally got answers and am getting the care I need.

He literally may have saved my life. Brilliant, kind and supportive, I can't praise this Doctor enough. He worked out what over 50 other GPs and specialists had not. I'm deeply grateful."

Appointment Types - Initial Consultations

Initial Comprehensive Assessment
60 minutes - £400

For any new concern — or a comprehensive review of your health more broadly. Whether you're coming with a specific difficulty such as erectile dysfunction, low libido or testosterone concerns, or you want a thorough men's health assessment covering cardiovascular risk, metabolic health, cancer screening and general wellbeing, sixty minutes gives us the time to look at the whole picture.

We'll take a full history — medical, hormonal, psychological, relational — make sense of what's going on, and leave with a clear plan.

Most men book this for their first appointment with me.

Initial Consultation
30 minutes - £220

For a focused concern — a specific question you want answered properly, a prescription review, or a referral you need arranging.

If you have multiple concerns, a complex history, or you're not sure where to start, the Initial Comprehensive Assessment is the better choice.

Sex & Relationship Therapy
50 minutes - £235

For men who want to explore the psychological and relational dimensions of a sexual difficulty — where the focus is on understanding rather than tests and treatment.

Common reasons men come include low desire, sexual anxiety, compulsive sexual behaviour, relationship or intimacy difficulties, and shame around their sexual selves.

If an underlying medical cause needs ruling out, an Initial Comprehensive Assessment is usually the better starting point

Follow Up Appointments

Follow-up Consultation — 15 minutes — £125

For a brief, focused check-in — a single result to review, confirming a medication is settling well, or a quick question that doesn't warrant a longer appointment.

Follow-up Consultation — 30 minutes — £220

For most follow-up needs — reviewing blood results, discussing how treatment is going, adjusting a plan, or continuing work already begun. If you're not sure which length to book, this is usually the right choice.

Follow-up Consultation — 60 minutes — £400

For a more substantial review — where circumstances have changed significantly, several things need discussing, or we're reassessing your overall picture and plan.

Psychosexual & Relationship Therapy - 50 minutes - £235

Therapy works on a rolling basis — you don't need to commit to a set number of sessions or a fixed weekly schedule. Most people find that meeting weekly initially and then decreasing to fortnightly or monthly gives enough time between sessions to reflect and notice what's changing.

Sessions are usually arranged directly rather than booked online. Get in touch to discuss timing and frequency.

Charging for time used

I only charge for the time we actually need. If you book a 60-minute appointment but we finish in 30 or 45 minutes, you'll only be charged for the time spent in consultation.

After you book

You'll receive a confirmation by email. If you have any recent blood tests or investigation results, it's helpful to send them to contact@drben.uk before your appointment — it means we can make the most of the time together.

Other Fees

  • Prescriptions & letters written within a consultation are included in the cost.

  • The costs of any investigations & treatment are not included in appointment costs unless stated. You can find further information about investigation and medication fees below.

If you’re unsure about what appointment type is right for you, you can always email me: contact@drben.uk

What To Expect

All appointments are at 23 Devonshire Place, Marylebone — a quiet, discreet address a short walk from Regent's Park tube. You'll be welcomed by reception, offered tea or coffee, and given time to settle before we begin.

New patient appointments include a thorough history — medical, family, and life context — so that I can understand you as a person, not just a presenting complaint. Examination is always optional and fully explained. Blood tests, where needed, can be arranged before or during your appointment.

If I think further investigation would be helpful - particularly imaging such as ultrasound, cardiac investigation, endoscopy, CT or MRI, we’ll discuss this in our consultation including potential costs.

Common Questions

  • Most men book the Initial Comprehensive Assessment for their first appointment — 60 minutes gives us time to take a proper history and look at the whole picture. If you have a single, straightforward concern, a prescription review, or a specific question, the 30-minute Initial Consultation may be sufficient. If you're genuinely unsure, get in touch and I'll advise before you book.

  • No. You can book directly. Most patients self-refer.

  • Yes, absolutely. Many patients come with nothing — we'll work out together what investigations, if any, are needed. If you do have recent blood tests, it's helpful to send them ahead of your appointment, or bring them along to your appointment.

  • Only with your consent. Many patients prefer to keep their private care about sensitive issues separate, and that's completely fine. Where it would be useful — for example for shared prescribing — I can write to your GP, but this is always your choice.

  • Payment is taken at the time of booking. All major credit and debit cards are accepted.

  • Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice are charged in full. If something unexpected comes up, please get in touch as soon as possible.

  • Yes — both initial and follow-up appointments are available remotely as well as in person. For some concerns, particularly where physical examination may be relevant, an in-person appointment at some point is preferable, but there is no requirement to come in person for a first appointment. You can choose when booking.

  • Yes. Patients travel from across the UK and internationally. If you're coming from outside London, we can organise a blood test to be done first thing (9am), and an appointment with me later in the afternoon on the same day (after 3pm) when we’ll have the results back.

Investigation Fees

MEDICATION FEES

Testosterone Treatment (all at cost price direct from pharmacy & subject to change)

  • Cypionate: £50/month

  • Nebido: £300 for first 3 months, then £150 per 3 months

  • Testogel: £65-100/month

  • Gonasi / hcg: £50/month

Prescription fee outside a consultation: £35

Patient Reviews

“Dr Ben made me feel at ease, asked very pertinent questions, listened carefully, carried out the pertinent tests and gave me a clear summary of how we should proceed. He obviously has great understanding and knowledge of these sensitive issues medically and emotionally which made me feel I was in good hands and could trust him. I had the test results and a summary letter of the appointment from him in 24 hours.”

Verified Doctify Patient Review - January 2026

“If you're struggling with any physical and/or emotional issues I highly recommend Dr Ben. He was the 3rd doctor I saw and I wish he was the first. I was really in a difficult place and after my visit with him I felt so much better. I feel like I have my life back after a very traumatic period.”

Verified Doctify Patient Review - February 2026

“Ben's approach to my care was kind, non judgemental and pragmatic. He presented my options with great clarity. For the first time in my life I was able to talk honestly about my problems. That alone is worth its weight in gold. Outstanding.”
